I’m currently living in a nearly-ideal situation in Davis, but my roommate must move out to take care of her aging parents. Rather than taking over the lease and finding a new roommate, I’m looking for another place to move into.

I’m a female, divorced, educated professional with a grown daughter (studying for her PhD at Berkeley) and, summarily, a poster child for the recession. I don’t need a new family or best friend, but I’m very friendly and easy to live with. (My current roommate will be happy to give you a recommendation.) I’m starting a new business so I’m home a lot, but am also busy with a variety of things.

I love dogs and cats and actually feel flattered when I come home to find my current feline roommates asleep on my bed. I’m happy to watch and feed them occasionally.

Having owned my own home until recently I prefer a washer/dryer on the premises, my own bathroom if possible, and parking space for my car.

I’ve got my own furniture and would very much prefer to use it.
