Let’s cut to the chase. I have no formal teaching experience. Other than that I feel I can still provide perfect guitar lessons for any beginner.
I have been playing musical instruments since I was 6 years old and started playing in school at 9 years old. I have experience with the piano, trumpet, trombone, baritone horn, french horn, clarinet, classical guitar, electric guitar, and regular acoustic guitar. In High School I played both in the Wind Ensemble (French Horn) and the jazz band (Trombone). I started playing guitar when I was 13.
I have taught several of my friends to play guitar and they can now play tunes that mean something to them and are recognizable to others (a very rewarding experience).
I’m a college student paying his way through college and trying to make ends meet, so I figured I’d sell the one actual skill I possess, and that is music (more specifically guitar playing).
If you want to hear a sample of my guitar playing I am more than willing to post a video of me on youtube and send you a link to it, or just do a direct recording and send it to you.
I am only charging $15 per hour and can teach any time that works for you. I can travel to your residence or you may come to mine if you wish. If bringing your guitar to my place is a problem, I have guitars here you can use. The only times I CANNOT provide lessons are Mondays & Wednesdays from 7 to 9 PM and Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2 to 8:30 PM.
