For sale: A black Apple MacBook 13″ 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
This particular matte-black machine has been babied for the duration of its career in my hands. Most of the time, I used a 3rd-party ergonomic keyboard and mouse, so the built-in keyboard and trackpad are hardly worn. I also usually used it on AC power, so the battery has lots of cycles left.

I have the receipts, paperwork and all the original packaging from when I purchased it. Yes, I’m so anal that I still have the anti-static bag and twist-ties, but that just makes me the super-careful sort of person from whom you want to be buying a used Mac.
I purchased the AppleCare extended warranty for this computer, which can (and will) be transferred to the buyer. It is valid through April 23, 2010. Consider it a form of buyer protection: if anything goes wrong in the first month or so after you buy the MacBook, it’s covered under warranty.
The drive has been wiped and Mac OS X 10.5 has been installed with all updates applied. All the licensed software is installed, including iLife ‘06 (iDVD, iPhoto, iTunes, and GarageBand), iWork Trial and Microsoft Office 2008 Test Drive. You’ll be getting the MacBook, power adapter, manuals, install CDs, remote and original box, along with the video adapter and keyboard cover/handrest.
I’m selling it for $800 cash. I am not interested in trades, money orders, wire transfers, personal checks, cattle futures, stock options or any form of payment other than cash. I will deal with buyers in person only. I am happy to show the computer to any interested party, or answer any questions that aren’t covered in this posting. If the posting is still here, then the MacBook is still available. I won’t say “Please, no scammers…” because what scammer worth his salt would pay attention to that?
